A man wrote a letter to a hotel in a small town he planned to visit on his vacation. It said,

I would like to bring my dog with me. He is well groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to allow him to stay
with me in my room?

The hotel Manager wrote back to the concerned man,

Ive been operating this hotel for many years now and in all this time Ive never had a dog steal towels, ashtrays, pillows, or
pictures off the wall. Ive never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never
had a dog run off without paying his bill.

Yes, indeed sir, your dog is welcome at our hotel. And if your dog will vouch for you, you are welcome to stay here too!

Your pet policy is one thing that really attracted us to your web site. Have you tried to get a pet friendly place on the Island? Its not easy, or if you happen to get one, you pay through the nose for your pet to stay or they put you in a place back in the woods. I understand some pets aren't well trained but the majority of people who travel with pets are. There wasn't a hesitation what so ever and that was welcoming.
